Sclerophora

This genus seems closely allied to Chaenotheca, but is generally more pale in outward appearance of the ascomata.  Anatomically, the spores of Sclerophora are unpigmented as compared to Chaenotheca, though admittedly spores of Chaenotheca are often nearly as pale.
